Text Box: ASK IN MY NAME:: Who spoke the wonderful words in John 14.13,14? The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He was teaching His disciples about prayer and together with the command to ask in His Name He gave them a wonderful promise: He said that He would do whatever they asked for in His Name, so that God the Father would be glorified. What is prayer? It is asking God the Father in the Name of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, for what we need, and for the many different things we would like Him to do for us and for others.
Text Box: CAN WE KNOW GOD?: Is There a God? Many people say they do not believe in God. Some live as if there were no God. Others say maybe there is a God, but He has not made Himself known to men. We will first of all answer the question, “Is there a God?” When we look at all the things around us, we ask, “Where did they come from?” How did the trees and mountains and lakes and animals and all the other things come to be? They all came to be through that Being who is called God. He must have great power. In the Bible the word used for God means The Powerful One.
Text Box: RIVERS OF LIVING WATER: God has given us four Gospels in the Bible to tell about the life of our Saviour on earth. Each Gospel shows the Lord Jesus Christ in a different way. Matthew shows Him as the King of the Jews, Matthew 27.37. Mark shows Him as the perfect Servant. Mark 10.45. Luke tells about Him as the Son of Man who loves all people and died for all, Luke 9.22; 19.10.Some of the things the Lord Jesus said and did are recorded in all four Gospels, but there are a number of things told in the Gospel of John that are not mentioned in the others. We read only in John that we must be born again, that Christ has gone to prepare a place for us in His Father's house, that we can come to the Father only through Christ, and many others. Rivers of Living Water is a study in John’s Gospel.

Text Box: WORSHIP GOD: Worship has been called the Christian’s highest occupation or activity. In other words worship is the most important part of the Christian believer’s life. So it should be the one part of our life that we should be most careful to be improving. But at the same time worship has been termed a “lost art” because it is absent in many lives in our present generation. We have lost the ability to wonder and be amazed at the beautiful and worthwhile. We have lost much of the attitude of awe and reverence.
Text Box: WHY, LORD? The Christian and Suffering Why did You allow this to happen, Lord? Why did You allow it to happen to ME? Why didn't You help me? Why do so many innocent people get killed? Why is there so much injustice in the world? Why all the war, all the suffering, all the heart ache?Have you ever asked questions like these?
This little book will not give you all the answers but we do pray that it will help and comfort you and strengthen your trust in the Lord who said, Consider it PURE JOY, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, James 1.2.3
